Is Life Eternal Truly Promised For Christians?
Sometimes doubt creeps into the human mind, even Christian minds and we wonder if God really promises life eternal? Where does it say that our existence will go on for an eternity? Jesus tells us in the Holy Gospel of John 10:27-30 ”My sheep listen to my voice: I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life and no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” This is a promise from the Bible that those who are truly follows of Christ, those who listen to the whispers from God and follow through to obey, are given the gift of eternity. As long as we are have Jesus in our hearts, no one can take the opportunity for eternal bliss with our Father in heaven away from us. In fact, Jesus goes on to say in terms that could not be any clearer - He and The Father are One.

Our Lord has given us His word. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The message of atonement at the cross is the crux of the message of salvation. If you accept and believe that Jesus was sacrificed as the Son of God for the sins of the world, yours and ours, then welcome Him into your heart to be the Lord and leader of your life and you too will be with Him for eternity.
