Take a Vacation – You Can Afford It

Now, some of you may be thinking, I’d love to take a vacation with the wife and kids, but we can’t afford it.  OlyLife believes that you can’t afford NOT to allocate this important family time into your schedule.  Vacations are a must for healthy families.  This is time for mom and or dad to get away from work and to focus on the children, on each other, and on the family unit.  Don’t live to work . . . work to live!

Affordable Family Vacations

Even if you cannot afford to drive to a warm climate or pay for hotel rooms, you can set aside a week to do things together as a family.  During the summer months, you can plan a hike and a picnic on Monday, the zoo or museum on Tuesday (check for free admission days), bowling or a movie on Wednesday, a drive to a historic site on Thursday, fish or play whiffle ball on Friday, visit an amusement park or arcade on Saturday, and pal around on Sunday.  Voila!  It’s an affordable family vacation.

A Lot to be Gained

During this week away from work, you will listen to each other, joke around, talk about serious and not-so-serious matters, show love and affection to one another, and so on. By the end of the week, your batteries will be recharged, and the family members will be full of the feeling that they are each loved and respected.
