Sometimes when we hear folks speak, we wonder if anyone ever taught manners at home or school. Whatever happened to apologizing properly when we make a mistake, please and thank you, holding doors open for those coming up behind us, and so on. The next time you go to a restaurant, stop and listen. Do you hear, “I’ll have the pizza and a coke. or “May I please have a pizza and a coke? – Thank You.” Most often you hear “coke and pizza…”
